The very much in love Jodi Ali Merchant and Sara Khan were so very devoted to their work this Valentines that they could not spend the day together!! While Ali was busy shooting for Ghar Ek Sapna in Mumbai, Sara was shooting in the beautiful locales of Kerala for Bidaai.

However, Ali decided to spring a surprise for his beau, and asked Angad Hasija, who plays Alekh in Bidaai to gift Sara some flowers. Says Angad, "I gave Sara flowers, and had also written a letter on behalf of Ali which read, 'I love you Sara, and I am there with you even now'. After reading this, Sara felt Ali was in the same resort where we were staying, and went round and round the resort looking for him. It was so much fun to see her search for Ali (laughs). Ultimately, she called Ali and yelled at him for playing such a joke".

Ali who masterminded this sweet prank says, "I requested Angad to give her flowers and a letter because I knew she will miss me on the day. But when she read the content which said 'I am with you even now' and began looking for me, we thought we will play a prank on her. Kinshuk and Angad who were part of the plan told her that I was in the resort and she had to search for me. Later, I got busy in my shoot and when I called her up in the evening, she was very upset poocho mat".

So how did Ali sort things out and please Sara finally? "Well, I told her that I am there in her heart always, and she was calm and happy to hear that", quips the lover-boy.

Well, all is 'fair' when you are in love, isn't it??
