Don’t want Amruta to take a break at the peak of her career: Himanshu Malhotra on embracing parenthood

Star Plus show ‘Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei' is getting the love of the audiences. The story of the show revolves around a couple whose girl child gets kidnapped in her childhood. The girl strives hard to find her real parents.

Himanshu Malhotra plays the role of Chikoo’s father in the show. Malhotra shares a warm bond with Chikoo played by actress Vaishnavi Prajapati. The duo has a lot of fun and Vaishnavi really adores and respects Himanshu. While Himanshoo aces his role as an onscreen father, India Forums asked him about his thoughts on embracing fatherhood in real life.

Himanshu, who is known for his humble nature and thoughtfulness replied to our question in a very positive manner. The actor said, “Honestly, Amruta and I are not planning to extend our family right now. For a man, it’s not a very big decision to make but for a woman, it is as she has to be invested in it- physically and emotionally. It atleast requires a time span of three years to get back to work for a new mother. Amruta is currently doing pretty well in her career and I don’t want her to take a break at this time, when she’s at the peak of her career”.
