Diya Aur Baati Hum to go Mughal-e-Azam style

After having stayed away from each other for a rather long period of time, Sandhya and Sooraj will finally reunite on STAR Plus's show, Diya Aur Baati Hum. The couple who have been shown living apart since last 5 months will be re-uniting in a very unique way. The makers wanted the reunion to be iconic hence the actors will be seen meeting Mughal-e-Azam style.

 

With Sooraj (Anas Rashid) finally regaining his consciousness after realizing that Sandhya (Deepika Singh) is alive, he is now embarking on a journey to find and bring her back home. At the same time, things aren't going as planned for Sandhya whose true identity is now in the open for the Garjana Sangathan. And while Sandhya is now in trouble with Garjana, they're treating her in the harshest way possible.

 

Deepika who is playing the pivotal role in the show said, "Garjana will trap Sandhya amidst brick walls leaving her to die. This will leave her with no contact with the outside world. It is then that Sooraj will reach the premise and feel Sandhya near him. This sequence will somewhat mark the reunion of the estranged couple. Certainly, this description does take you back to the epic love saga, Mughal-e-Azam.

Though Anarkali was entombed amidst brick walls to mark the end of the eternal Salim-Anarkali love saga. It was really interesting and I was extremely thrilled to be a part of this epic sequence."

As 2nd October, the day for Garjana to put their nuclear mission against India into execution, the wait is to see whether Sooraj will be able to rescue Sandhya from the clutches of the Garjana Sangathan or not.
