Divya Drishti Actress, Shrashti Maheshwari Roped in For Aladdin 2!

Sab TV’s popular show, Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga starring Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles is undergoing a revamp. Produced by Peninsula Pictures, the show managed to grab eyeballs due to the funny take that it took on the age-old fantasy tale. 

The makers are introducing a few new characters in the show including a Chotu Genie that will be played by child actor Krishang Bhanushali. And now from our sources, we hear that Divya Drishti fame, Shrashti Maheshwari has been roped in by the makers to play a pivotal role.

Shrashti will essay the role of Gulegulfam who will have negative shade. There will be a love triangle between Aladdin, Yasmin and Gulegulfam. Our source said, “Shrashti has been brought by the makers to play Gulegulfam. Her character has sweet and salty shades. There can be a love triangle between Aladdin, Yasmin and her character. She hasn’t started shooting yet and if things work well then the show will go on air in July.”

Shrashti is currently juggling between Divya Drishti and Vighnaharta Ganesha meanwhile, she was also a part of Dangal TV’s episodic show Achanak Uss Roz.
