Disha Wakani, who is essaying the character of Dayaben in SAB TV's popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, spared time to answer our slam book questions…

Birthday: 17th September.

Nickname: Tanna.

Sun sign: Aries.

Hometown: Ahmedabad.

Describe yourself: I like to be positive at all times. I am a moody and jolly person.

Your strength and weakness: My strength is my family and my weaknesses are watching movies and eating sweets.

You're crazy about: Travelling.

What can easily impress you: Knowledge impresses me and I am very much addicted to reading books.

Hobbies: I have lots of hobbies like swimming, reading, sleeping, eating, watching comedy movies, drawing and dancing.

The moment you were on cloud 9: There have been 3 such phases in my life, which took me to cloud 9.

a. When my dad allowed me to come to Mumbai.
b. When Taarak Mehta was offered to me.
c. I am on cloud 9, since the time I have heard that we will be completing 1000 episodes in November this year.

Do you believe in destiny: Yes, I do believe but I also have a strong belief in hard work. We must keep a goal and work hard to achieve it.

Song you're humming these days: Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein…

TV shows you follow: I used to follow Krishnaben Khakrawala, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and all the shows of SAB TV.

An unforgettable day of your life: Recently, I visited Goa with my family and spent some quality time with them for 5 days. Those were the unforgettable days of my life.

Describe your daily routine in short: I wake up at 6 in the morning then exercise. I get ready to go for my shoot and then I pray to God. I go to my set and shoot for the whole day. I reach home by 8 pm or sometimes by 9 and the watch my show. I have dinner and I go to bed by 10 or 11.

Your favourite pass time during your free time on the set: I revert back to text messages that I receive on my phone or I read books.

The best compliment you have ever received: I have got it for my show. Somebody complimented as there was a time when Ramayan used to come on TV and no one used to be seen on the roads during that time and the same thing is happening with Taarak Mehta. Now children prefer to watch Taarak Mehta over playing.

If Ginnie asks 3 wishes from you then what would they be: I will wish him to make our show run for long..longer.. Longest time ever.

Your inspiration: I get inspired with each and everything around me.

You're incomplete without: Food.

Places you visit quite often in Mumbai: Juhu and Manori Beach.

What will you do if you will get wings for a day: I will fly to Disneyland and Hollywood Studio.

p.s. - @keenal ... this is quite strange but it happens... example is me.. m born in April but my zodiac sign is SCORPIO...
i thought this might b d mistake by d astrologer.. so I discussed it agin with another astrolger,, but then also s sign came as Scorpio...!!!

I Serously love her acting , it's really difficult , and doing acting in a diff voice all time Is stuff and she does it excellently , love u as daya , keep rocking in tmkoc love the show
