Directing Everest is like a dream come true - Ankush Mohla

How has your experience been shooting for Everest?

My experience has been totally fascinating, it has been very challenging. I think it is something which I have never done before or will do because this is something which is done once in life.

As a director what all efforts you had to take while shooting?

First of all you have to be physically fit to go to places like Everest. As a director you need to portray the story in a proper manner in limited time. You have to work efficiently with the team by making a proper atmosphere to work for veteran actors as well as new comers.

What was the reason behind taking up this show?

I have done lot of films, theater and television so I was searching to do something different and new. Directing Everest was something which I have always dream't about, this is something which does not comes in my domain. I think even Hollywood industry would not have tried such a challenging project, I never thought that I will work in minus five degrees temperature, we were staying in a tent. So when I came across this project there was no second thought for it.

How is your relation with Ashutosh Gowarikar?

I share a very good relationship with him. We have worked together earlier also where we was an actor and I was a director. To work with him is totally enriching because you get to learn a lot, our DOP and the entire team are experienced in this field, when I came to know that A.R. Rahman is giving music I was in awe of him.

You have also done Nach Baliye 5 so how was your experience doing that?
