After a courtship of nearly one year, actor Jyotsna Chandola, 'Sasural Simar Ka' fame on Colors, tied the knot with director Nitesh Singh recently.

While the news about how the duo met; fell in love and their bonded is reported all around the media, we asked her about her journey as to how she got into this field of career, rose up to being an actor and her take, on whether she was destined to take up acting to fall in love with Nitesh?

Speaking about the same, Jyotsna said, "I think so, because the industry treated me well and unlike many, I am lucky to meet only positive people who have encouraged me in my career. Even now, I have Dipika Kakar with whom I bond like a sister."

Elaborating on the kind of roles she enjoys doing, she further narrated, "I received immense appreciation while playing a possessed character for one of my horror shows. I'm pretty happy and satisfied with whatever I have done till now, but yes like every actor, I too want to grow because one can't be satisfied until one keeps growing in life. I would really like to take up a negative role as I feel this shade has lot of scope to perform and experiment as well."

Well said, Jyotsna!
