We had last updated you guys with the time slot and the show going on air from January 5, 2015, just after Bigg Boss 8 coming to an end.

There have been a lot of speculations in the media as to who will play the main lead of Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and here we are with this exclusive information.

Siddharth Nigam, also seen as younger Amir Khan in Dhoom 3, will be essaying the role of the main protagonist.

Confirming about the same our source says, "Siddharth Nigam will be seen essaying the role of Ashoka. His shooting as of now has not started for the same. It should start anytime sooner."

We tried getting in touch with the actor but could not get through him.
