Dharmendra joins Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's untitled rom-com: Report

For the first time, Shahid Kapoor and Dinesh Vijan will collaborate on an original love story. As reported earlier, Kriti Sanon will be seen alongside Shahid in the film. According to reports the movie began production last year with the intention of shooting in Mumbai, Delhi, and Europe. The ensemble cast also includes Dimple Kapadia, who has collaborated with Dinesh Vijan on movies like Cocktail, Finding Fanny, and Angrezi Medium.

Well according to latest reports from Pinkvilla, there is a new addition to the ensemble cast and its veteran actor Dharmendra. The reports stated that Dharam ji has already started shooting for the film with Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Dimple Kapadia. His presence brought in a different sense of energy on the set and everyone has taken this chance to learn from the acting legend. 

For the unversed, at the moment, Dharmendra is busy signing back-to-back movies. The actor has three films coming out soon: the Karan Johar-directed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, the as-yet-untitled rom-com starring Shahid & Kriti, and the Dinesh Vijan-produced Ekkis, which is being directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Interestingly, it is also a first-time pairing for Shahid and Kriti, and the ones who have seen their look insist that the audience will be bowled over by their look and chemistry. Apart from the aforementioned film, Shahid is also in talks with Anees Bazmee for a comic caper, which is expected to go on floors by Summer 2023 and has the film, Bloody Daddy with Ali Abbas Zafar in plans.
