#DejaVuAlert: When the leads were tortured in the SAME way in 'Ishq Subhan Allah' and 'Bepannaah'

Well, with me having mentioned Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah and Colors' Bepannaah in the same headline, I assume you guys already know which scene I am talking about here.

Apart from the fact that both the pairs are fresh, what is common is that both Ishq Subhan Allah and Bepannaah are new shows that are just 5 days apart. Also, both Kabir-Zara and Aditya-Zoya as pairs have incredible on-screen chemistry and also have amassed a humongous fan-following in a very short span of time.

Coming back to when the shows shared more than the above mentioned similarities, the scene in question here that I am referring to is where the Ishq Subhan Allah couple Kabir (Adnan Khan) and Zara (Eisha Singh) are tortured in a jail in Kashmir and in Bepannaah, Aditya (Harshad Chopda) and Zoya (Jennifer Winget) are tortured in the jail by the inspector for a crime that they did not commit.

And their tormentors punish them for having some really twisted reasons.

In Ishq Subhan Allah, Kabir and Zara are led into a trap by ACP Gazal Mirza (Sapna Thakur), who turns out to be Siraj's (Piyush Sahdev) wife. In a twisted kinda way, Gazal holds Kabir and Zara responsible for losing Siraj in a police encounter. Hence, to avenge the death of her husband, she lures the couple to Kashmir and then tortures both of them to extreme limits, before Kabir finally shoots her.

And most recently in Bepannaah, ACP Rajveer (Apurva Agniotri) who has some crazy grudge against the Hoodas, first implicates traps Zoya and Aditya into doing a fake wedding, then calls the media and gets them and their families shamed and then issues an arrest warrant against the duo for murdering their respective life partners. And when Aditya and Zoya run to escape the clutches of the law to buy some time to prove themselves innocent, the ACP arrests them and that's not all. Taking cruelty to another level, he especially brings in male and female goons to beat up Zoya and Aditya.

In both the shows, the pairs' nemesis tortured them for no fault of theirs. But what good came out of all the beating was that both Aditya and Zoya and Zara and Kabir's relationships saw some drastic change. 

Well, all the efforts did pay off eh!
