DeepRaj Rana who was earlier seen playing Major Nair in SAB's popular show Left Right Left will soon be entering Zee's Betiyaan.
According to our source, "He will play a property builder who takes possession of the girls' property papers by crook. His role will be a negative one, but will have a comic flavor which is something new in Betiyaan".
"The guy will have a role similar to Boman Irani in Khosla ka Ghosla. He is cricket crazy, and will be seen using more of the cricketing terms in his dialogues. This track will go on for more than two months, and will give a fulfilled comic flavor to the show", adds our source.
The actor will be starting shoot from tomorrow, and his entry will be shown next Tuesday or Wednesday. He will be seen wearing floral shirts and flashy trousers. In addition to this, the love story of Jhanvi and Nikhil will also be shown as a parallel track.
"The story ahead will focus on the manner in which the Betiyaan get back their property from this person. If things fall in place, the girls will also be seen playing a cricket match with the crazy cricket fanatic to take back the papers", explains our source.
We talked to Deepraj Rana who confirmed this, and said, "Yes, I will be starting shoot soon. I have not got to know much about my role, as I am still going thro my scripts. I will be able to talk about it later this evening".
The actor who was seen in Left Right Left is back to television after a break of four months. Deepraj is the husband of Natassha Rana, who essays the role of Ambika in Star Plus' Bidaai.
We look forward to this comic flavor in Betiyaan…
