Deepika Padukone receives a heart warming note from veteran actress Hema Malini.

A couple of weeks ago, Deepika attended an event to launch Hema Malini's biography titled, 'Hema Malini: Beyond the Dream Girl'.

Seeing the gracious presence of Deepika at the launch of her book Hema Malini gave a heartfelt note to the actress. The note reads, "Dear Deepika, The contents of the book that you so graciously launched take on an added meaning as I land over the baton to you for a glorious continuation of artistic excellence."

Talking about Hema Malini's biography, it is penned by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The biography is about the journey of the actress till now. From Hema's alleged love affair with Dharmendra to bumping into Jeetendra - the book claims to have many facts that are never mentioned before.

While, on the other hand, Deepika Padukone is currently busy promoting her upcoming film Padmavati which also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Produced by Bhansali Productions the film is all set to release on December 1, 2017.
