Deepika Padukone nails the boss lady look in an Alberta Ferretti power suit

Deepika Padukone is a star par excellence and there is no denying the fact she has billions of fans spanning all throughout the world. She is a busy bee these days as she is working post shoot on Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak. She was recently in London with her hubby dearest, Ranveer Singh, shooting for 83' the film. 

Last night Deepika was spotted at a fundraising event and well, she grabbed eyeballs for not only sharing her battle with depression but for power suiting up too. Wearing an all black pant suit by Alberta Ferretti, Deepika was all smiles as she got papped. 

The fringe detailing at the back of her blazer and the tape detailing on the trousers were quiet interesting. She wore a smokey eye to bring out the boss in her and kept the rest of it quiet minimal. Hair parting on the left, a nude lip, diamonds in her ears and all black pumps to match, Deepika was all finesse at the event.  Have a look:

The event was organised by the Youth Anxiety Center in New York and Deepika shared her journey at it too. She even clicked pictures with Kendall Jenner at the do. Sharing the same on her social media, Deepika wrote,"300 million people in the world suffer with anxiety and depression. But I think the key to know is that depression and anxiety can creep up on absolutely anybody, from any profession, any gender, any part of the world. The toughest part for me was that I didn’t know what was happening. The day I understood there was a name to it, it was called ‘clinical depression’ I already started feeling much better. If there is anything that I’ve learnt in the journey of recovery is that you need to be patient, and that there is hope. Superman once said, once you choose hope, anything is possible!”
