Debut at the age of 86!

Veteran actor and director Lekh Tandon who has been a part of renowned movies like Rang De Basanti, Chennai Express and Swades will soon make his TV debut at the age of 86 years.

Tandon will be seen in the coming episodes of Star Plus's Sumit Sambhal Lega, where he will be seen playing the role of a fun loving and flirtatious tau! Lekh will enter the show on Dolly's (Bharati Achrekar) and Jasbir's (Satish Kaushik) 40^th wedding anniversary!

It was Lekh who discovered the talent in Shah Rukh Khan by giving him his first serial Dil Dariya'.

Lekh said in a statement, "My role in 'Sumit Sambhal Lega' is very interesting, my character of a Happy Tau is romantic at heart. And what can be a better inspiration than the 'King of Romance' himself - Shah Rukh Khan'
