Dealing with 'real people' excites Divyanka about hosting upcoming reality show 'The Voice'!

Actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya who has been ruling the roost with Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is now all set to anchor the popular musical reality show, The Voice.  The actress is already multitasking between her daily show and a web series opposite Rajeev Khandelwal and now we hear its time for a hat-trick with The Voice.  

Our source informs us, "Divyanka is the most popular face on Indian Television.  The channel and the makers wanted the best for The Voice as the show by far is very different from the other reality shows on Indian Television.  Plus it had to be a face which isn't over saturated in the anchoring field which made Divyanka the perfect choice. Her lovable persona and immense fan following made her apt for this project!  It was a conscious decision not to rope in another anchor as they felt that Divyanka herself has the persona to be able to hold the stage and engage the audience, viewers and contestants."  

When we reached out to Divyanka she said, "It's not my anchoring debut as I've anchored for Award shows earlier. But being a solo anchor for a reality show, dealing with 'real people' away from glamour, dedicated towards their art is my first. The line up of judges too is very exciting. The concept of this show which is an international brand, is so unique that pulled me the most. Here contestants are chosen on basis of their 'Voice' only, not for how they look or present themselves. So it ought to be fair."  

In a day and age where managing one daily soap can be tough Divyanka is planning on taking up the challenge of doing three shows together. When we ask her how she plans to manage the same, Divyanka said, "Its a lot of time management but I am not complaining. I am loving the fact that I am part of three different genres and am getting the ability to experiment as an actor.  Yes its draining and I know that its easier said than done but I'm sure its possible with planning as well as cooperation from my production houses and channel."  

Divyanka seems to be upping the standards of Indian Television as her blocked out calendar along with her reign on social media as the most popular celebrity is one which can inspire many!
