What inspired you to launch a calendar?

I thought of making the calendar last year with the help of a friend. This year I decided to make another one in New York but I definitely wanted my sisters to be around, so I shot it in Mumbai.

Thanks to my sister Mukti Mohan for helping me in developing the concept. The key person this year was Kanchana Sawant, an art director who also designed the calendar, without herNritya Shakti - Dancing with Godswouldn't have been possible.

What will the calendar be like?

Nritya Shakti 2013 - Dancing with Gods will be a treat to everyone's eyes. All the images are like portraits and are a beautiful representation of their powers.

What according to you is the USP of this calendar?

Nritya Shakti 2013 - Dancing with Gods has an international appeal.It is an artistic representation of the Indian Gods and international dance styles.

Who did the photography for the calendar?

Suresh Natarajan is the photographer, who is amazing to work with and very friendly too.

What kind of photos will it have?

It has images of Gods dancing and representing their strength.

Will the calendar have all the national holidays marked?

No.

Will it be a table calendar or a wall calendar?

It will be a table calendar.

Will you be having a calendar for the forthcoming years too?

Yes, I do plan on continuing to produce the calendar in the years to come.

How will this calendar be sold and distributed?

Nritya Shakti Calendar is not meant to be sold. It will be distributed personally and will be showcased on my website www.nrityashakti.com for viewing too. It is exclusively distributed to the industry, friends and family.
