Daljeet from ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ is a lot like me: Sayantani Ghosh

Sony SAB show ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ is very well received by the viewers. The show is getting the love and adulation from fans. The current track of the show revolves around Rajeev developing soft corner for Daljeet while Mamta also seem to have fallen in love with Rajeev.

India Forums got in touch with Sayantani and asked her about similarities between herself and the character of Daljeet. She said, “Once you have played a character over a time, I think an artiste blends into the character. I believe Daljeet is so much of Sayantani and vice versa. I totally relate with her; she is a strong woman and knows to face this tough world. She is someone who knows to balance her personal life and work, she is a great homemaker too. Daljeet is not a character you just relate to but she is very real and is flawed. Whenever she does a mistake, she does not shy away to apologize. She is a strong today's woman and that's why I relate with the character a lot”.

We asked the gorgeous actress about her thoughts on being associated with the show, she said, “I believe the show has grown over a period of time, people have really appreciated and love it from the bottom of their heart. They have accepted Daljeet with open arms. The audience has always been loving towards the character. I think portraying this character of Daljeet has helped me break a lot of stereotypes in today's life and I am grateful to be a part of such a show. The show overall has come a long way and fans keep rooting and loving us. It is really a very wholesome journey and I want them to be hooked to the storyline and loving us”.
