Congratulations: Diya Aur Baati Hum achieves a milestone of 1000 episodes!

It's time to celebrate and rejoice for the entire team of Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum that airs on Star Plus. The show which has gained immense popularity amongst the audience for maintaining the top position of the TRP chart has successfully achieved a milestone of completing 1000 episodes.

Diya Aur Baati Hum is all about a beloved couple Suraj Sandhya who complete each other. Suraj, who is a Halwai by profession, has helped his wife Sandhya to achieve her dreams of becoming an IPS officer. Crossing all the hurdles successfully, Sandhya has now achieved her dreams. With Sandhya and Suraj becoming proud parents of twins in the show, the show is heading towards a leap of five years.

We hear that, the elated team of Diya Aur Baati Hum will be celebrating the completion of their successful 1000 episodes by cutting a cake on the sets today evening. Producer Sumeet Mittal too will be joining the team for the celebration.

When we contacted Neelu Vaghela, she said, "The journey has been very nice and enjoyable like a family. We are missing Kanika and we hope that we will perform even better in future. I would like to convey a message to all the lovely fans that please keep watching Diya Aur Baati Hum regularly like you all have been watching since last three years. Lots of love and blessings from Bhabo."

An elated Ashok Lokhande aka Bhabasa told us, "It's been a fantastic journey with the show. It’s a great feeling that the show has completed 1000 episodes today and it’s a trendsetter show. I feel very good and excited to be a part of the show which conveys a good content with a good message to the society. It’s been a wonderful experience working with the co-actors. I have been working in the industry since long and this show has given me a different kind of recognition.”  

Pooja Singh, who essays the character of Emily, shares, "It’s been a fantastic journey so far. The show has been on top for years. It’s a proud feeling to be a part of such a successful show and a team. I have worked previously also but this production house is really good to work with and I can say that this production house is the best one at this time. Being a part of this production house and a show like this it's amazing. I feel blessed that I am a part of this show and I will always be there till the end of the show. It's a wonderful and a special feeling that the show has completed 1000 episodes."
