Popular Colors show 'Udaan' is all set for a 10 year leap post which 'Krishna Chali London' fame Gaurav Sareen & 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' fame Tanya Sharma will play the lead roles. As reported earlier, Vijayendra Kumeria, Vidhi Pandya and other actors have moved out of the show due to the leap whereas the reports suggested that Meera Deosthale might stay back. But now, Meera too has quit the show after three years as she doesn't want to play mother to an 18-year-old girl.
Confirming the same, Meera told a leading daily that, she is just 22 and cannot play mother to an 18-year-old in 'Udaan'. Many young actresses can pull-off motherly roles but she doesn't look mature enough to play such roles.
Speaking about the generation leap in 'Udaan', Meera further added that, every show has taken leaps as they are important and even 'Udaan' has witnessed many. The makers of 'Udaan' are more experienced and she is sure that it is the right decision as they know what works best for the show.
The actress, who was already playing mother to an 8-year-old in 'Udaan', is satisfied with her journey and is happy that she got to play many shades as Chakor in the show.
For the uninitiated, 'Udaan' began in the year 2014 with child-actor Spandan Chaturvedi as Chakor. Later, Meera along with Vijayendra, Viddhi and Paras Arora entered the show post leap and became household names.
