Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah barely made it through the week and we already see trouble seeping in. While most of the audience cannot stop drooling over Adnan Khan's portrayal of Kabir and the strength of Zara's character, some pointed out a major problem. Fans and religious organisations were quick to take offense with the content.

Ishq Subhan Allah is one of those rare shows on Indian TV set against the backdrop of a Muslim society and now we hear that a religious organisation (non-governing body) has filed a complaint against the show for its misrepresentation of Islam. We asked the lead actress, Eisha Singh about it and she said, "I have no idea about it, to be very honest. I'm just doing my work so I had no idea people were protesting against the show.

Turns out, there's quite an outrage on twitter about religious misrepresentation-

Most accusations point towards a lack of knowledge of the religion and its practices. However, it's too early to tell if the makers are at fault in terms of poor research since we haven't seen a full cultural presentation on the show yet.
