Colors Show Jhansi Ki Rani to go off air in July!!

Many shows are meeting their ill-fate of being pulled off screen and the new addition to the list is the Color's show Jhansi Ki Rani. The show was on air from February'19 and had a run of just five months before the makers realized that it is not pulling in the eyeballs as much as expected. 

Jhansi Ki Rani has Anushka Sen, Vikas Manaktala, Anuja Sathe playing titular roles. The show is based on the life of Rani of Jhansi, Laxmi Bai who fought for the freedom of our country. The story is all about her valor and pride but the audience didn't show the interest in one more historical shows. 

As per the reports of a leading entertainment portal, a little birdie quoted,  “Jhansi Ki Rani has not been able to up the ante with respect to its numbers. It has been doing very average in terms of numbers. The channel has decided to close it if the numbers do not improve. If things do not get better, the show will shut in July."

They tabloid reported that the off air date is July 24th. Apart from Jhansi Ki Rani,  Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, Vish Ya Amrit – Sitara, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Udaan, Kesari Nandan are the shows that have been shelved recently. Colors is however, all set to launch the new shows and it spans over different genres including horror.
