Colors regains its 3rd position on the TRP chart!

Popular GEC channel Colors was every week trying hard to bring in something new to clinch one step on the TRP chart ratings. However, the channels and the shows numbers are decided every week through the TRPs.

Channel Star Plus has constantly been leading whereas Zee TV is on the second position. The first two positions seems to have been reserved for these two channel but the race is going on between Colors and Life OK. Colors channel was on the third position for many weeks but was last on 22nd week. It was observed that on 23^rd week Colors channel's TRP had declined and it reached to the 4^th position. It was because most of the shows were not doing well in the channel. But in 24^th week the channel regained its 3^rd position and its GVT has reached from 350 to 366.

The reality shows in the channel has gained tremendous increase in its GVT rating. Comedy Nights with Kapil has increased from 4.4 to 5.9 which is a great jump. Next is the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 whose TRPs in two weeks has climbed up to 5.6. Now one can say that these shows have played a major role to bring the channel to the 3^rd position again.

Fiction shows on the channel has not shown much improvement in their GVT ratings but still the channel is doing well. But nevertheless the channel's fiction shows Beintehaa and Rangrasiya are slowly and steadily increasing their reach and attracting the audiences attention. Whereas shows like Sasural Simar Ka has recently taken the leap, Uttaran whose storyline will soon change is expected to come up with something interesting to keep their audiences hooked to the show.

Bani - Ishq Da Kalma has already gone off air and Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is expected to go off air on 12 July.

The channel is trying hard and putting all the efforts to make channel better and better.
