Choti Bahu to become one hour on Monday from 17th August..

Come 17th August, Zee TV's popular daily show, Choti Bahu, produced by D J's Creative Unit will become one hour( 7.30-8.30) on Mondays, while the remaining days of the week, it would continue to air at its old 7.30-8 pm slot. The 8 pm slot falls vacant with Dheeraj Kumar's long running show Maayka shutting shop on August 13th.

Zee TV also has a new launch in 'Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani…Jhansi Ki Rani' which will be aired at 8 PM from Tuesdays to Fridays starting from August 18th.

According to our source, "Choti Bahu has been doing very well ever since its launch, and hence the channel and production house has decided to make it one hour on Mondays, while Jhansi Ki Rani will be aired from Tuesday to Friday".
 
Producer Tony Singh confirmed the same saying that Choti Bahu will indeed air for one hour on Monday. "It was a channel decision and will continue for some time".
 
Ajay Bhalwankar, Programming Head, Zee TV also confirmed the above development, but refused to speak about the exact time frame of Choti Bahu's extension on Mondays.
