As the saying goes, opposites attract, SAB TV's latest offering Dil Deke Dekho will witness a unique love story of Kamal Chopra (Amit Tandon) and Simran Shastri (Preet Kaur Madhan) who are poles apart. 

Kamal Chopra, a typical Punjabi boy is the eligible bachelor of the Chopra family. He is in search of his childhood love, who had kissed him on his cheeks when they were too young to even remember. For the past 30 years, he has been trying to find the essence of that kiss in every girl. Everything starts falling in place for him when he meets Simran Shastri. Simran is a girl whom every guy would want to date, the dream girl of every man in the neighbourhood. But quite otherwise,  she is single and is in search of her prince charming.  

Amit Tandon, who plays the character of Kamal Chopra adds, "Kamal's character is very eccentric. He looks like a typical Punjabi boy with a great physic but his behaviour is totally different and not very masculine. He is in search of his childhood love Simran and when he finds her, he tries all the possible ways to woo her." 

Preet Kaur Madhan who plays the character of Simran Shastri says, "My character is of a girl who is hot and is a head turner in her neighbourhood. In search of her prince charming and a perfectionist, she stayed single all this time.  When she meets Kamal Chopra for the first time, she starts fighting with him. When he falls for her, he tries various ways to woo her, inevitably putting himself into a lot of trouble from which Simran always rescues him. Therefore, making it difficult for Kamal to woo her."
