Check out: Giaa Manek up for a noble cause!

Though the pretty and popular actress of Telly Town Giaa Manek is on a sabbatical these days, she is up to contributing her bit to the society by supporting a good cause.

Recently Giaa Manek in association with the famous designer Archana Kochchar and celebrity makeup artist Gurpreet Ghura organised a charity event for Smile Foundation. Few of the celebrities from the Tinsel town too joined with Giaa in support of this cause.

When we contacted Giaa to know more about this event, she told us, "It's a cause for Smile Foundation which concentrates on building funds for the underprivileged girl child's education. It's like a charity organisation; Archana Kochchar and I have been associated with it from a very long time. We have done lots of events together with them before also. I have walked the ramp too for the Smile Foundation. We invited celebrities too. Celebrities like Preetika Rao, Navina Bole, Gunjan Utreja, Sonal Jindal, Supriya Mukherjee, Munisha Khatwani, Nausheen Ali and many other came to support the cause while Simple (Simple Kaul) and Rubina (Rubina Dilaik) couldn't make it. Celebs came and tried out the designer outfits by Archana. We raised a good amount of funds for the Smile Foundation with this event."

She further told us, "We hardly get time when we are working. So whenever I get a chance, I try to utilise my time by getting myself involved in such events. God has given us so much. So, I feel that even we should do something for the people that are underprivileged."
