After keeping the viewers guessing for over 3 months, it’s time to reveal the winner of India’s 1st [v] Campus Star. After getting the maximum audience votes and judges marks to win his / her college a top spot, the winner also gets a cool Rs. 5 lakh, oodles of fame and a complete Channel [v] makeover for his / her college! The talented winner of [v] Campus Star will be awarded by the ‘Jannat’ star Emraan Hashmi. The finale episode promises to be an absolute treat for the contestants and the audience as it puts an end to the ultimate campus battle in the country!

[v] Campus Star went on air on March 11, 2008 with a search for India’s coolest guy & gal from the best college across the nation. Hosted by VJ Juhi and VJ Neil, it gives an opportunity to college students to prove their mettle as the 1st ever winner!. 9 finalists have been competing for this coveted title with the top 3 being Rayat College of Law, Punjab (Aparshakti), St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai (Niharika) and IIM, Kolkata (Deepak) who have been giving tough competition to each other. Over the past few weeks, the popularity of the show has soared high as the contestants garnered over 1 million votes from the audience within a short span. The fight amongst the colleges in India to bag the title of the India’s first Campus Star will culminate with the grand finale episode which airs on May 13.
