Colors' popular show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat might soon bid adieu to the channel. The show which has gained a lot of popularity among the audience may soon be going off-air.

It hasn't been too long since the show saw a leap which introduced new actors like Mohit Raina and Soumya Seth. The story, however, will soon reach its climax and thereby end.

We also hear that another show named Shani, produced by Swastik Production might replace Ashoka. Cricketer turned actor Salil Ankola will be making a comeback to TV with this show. He will play the role of Surya Dev (Sun God). Also Bigg Boss fame, Juhi Parmar Shroff will be making her comeback with this show and she will be playing the role of Shani's mother on the serial. As per the mythology, the name of his mother was Chhaya.

We contacted Mohit Raina, who told us, "I haven't heard something like this, I am clueless about the same."

We also contacted Abhimanyu Singh who said, "I haven't got any such information."

CAS manages to get good TRPs even with the crap love story of Ashok and KWK instead of showing Ashok's journey. Why would they end it ? I don't think anything like this will happen. Even if it happens then hope we will see Ashok's battle for the throne than the so called eternal love story. Show us the history.

For once please IF , give us a relevant and true news ! I mean how many times you gonna gave us a fake news, earlier you have given us the news Kaurwaki will be played by Sanjeeda sheikh and then in top 10 trps shows , you haven't even mention CAS beside at that time, show was at 2.2 trp and now your new invention!! CAS is going off air like really and if that's true then , soon I'm going to be new president of USA :D .

What. This is the only sensible show on colors right now, how can they take it off air. And what are u talking about it reaching its climax, the show hasn't even brushed the surface of the history of King Asoka.

I dont believe this bullshit!! The only sensible show on Colors right now cant and shouldnt end like this!! There are lots of things to happen in the show!! Cant end a great show for a stupid nonsensical mythology crap!!!
