Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat to go off air?

Colors' popular show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat might soon bid adieu to the channel. The show which has gained a lot of popularity among the audience may soon be going off-air.

It hasn't been too long since the show saw a leap which introduced new actors like Mohit Raina and Soumya Seth. The story, however, will soon reach its climax and thereby end.

We also hear that another show named Shani, produced by Swastik Production might replace Ashoka. Cricketer turned actor Salil Ankola will be making a comeback to TV with this show. He will play the role of Surya Dev (Sun God). Also Bigg Boss fame, Juhi Parmar Shroff will be making her comeback with this show and she will be playing the role of Shani's mother on the serial. As per the mythology, the name of his mother was Chhaya.

We contacted Mohit Raina, who told us, "I haven't heard something like this, I am clueless about the same."

We also contacted Abhimanyu Singh who said, "I haven't got any such information."
