Amit Sareen who plays Chaitanya in Doli Saja Ke spilled the beans about his character's death in the serial. When we asked him whether the rumours have any truth in it, he confirms, "Yes, you have heard it right. The story is going that way, and I have already shot for the death scene". Chaitanya's character was highly appreciated and loved by the audience.

We asked the actor directly whether the demise was scripted, or by any chance was he planning to leave the serial, he answered, "No, Chaitanya was supposed to die long back, this was in the script. But his role got extended because the viewers liked his character a lot". Dead characters are often brought back to life as we've seen in the past. When asked about his views, Amit replied, "As of now, I can just tell you that, I have shot for the death scene, which was very extensive, painful; I got emotionally and physically drained out doing it". Amit Sareen is very popular among girls and his sudden exit would leave his fans heartbroken. When asked about his upcoming projects, he says "Yes, I cannot talk about it as of now, once things get finalized, I will surely let you know", says the actor.
