The January of 2020 witnessed a huge announcement that took the world by surprise i.e. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit from their royal duties. The couple announced their decision to live a real life that promised less media scrutiny on their personal life, at the same time meaning financial independence. An announcement which made every fashion follower wonder as to what might happen to Meghan’s style when she will not have an access to the royal wardrobe, funds and the freedom to unfollow the royal protocol of dressing? We are in March of 2020 and the end of this month will see Meghan and Prince Harry leave the Royal Family in the pursuit of a normal life.
The first question to rise in every royal-fashion follower's mind is if Duchess Of Sussex will ever be seen wearing the tiara she wore at the time of her wedding to Prince Harry. A diamond encrusted, floral broach tiara borrowed from Queen Elizabeth. The answer is, yes she may, if the she attends a diplomatic reception and state event, if allowed by the Queen.
As royal as the tiara is, the fancy fascinator have been embraced by Meghan Markle as soon as she married Prince Harry. And just like the tiara, Meghan will have a choice to whether she wishes to sport this headgear or not. Choice is solely hers!
A British royal family protocol, bright colours are okay on clothes but not the face! Post Megxit, we are confident to see Meghan sport bright but not OTT pigments as makeup. Think popping lipsticks and vibrant eye makeup.
Before embracing the royal curls, Meghan Markle was quite fond of messy hairdos and beach waves. Looks like Meghan might just be seen sporting cool hair styles!
Bright manicure is a royal pet-peeve. However, Meghan will surely welcome them in her looks after she steps down from the position of senior royalty, considering she sported the edgy black nail paint at British Fashion Awards in 2018.
A big no for not just British but any royal family is skin show. However, we feel Meghan might opt for risqué outfits at the same time she will not overdo it.
As for her outfit choices, Meghan will not have access to the royal fund to spend on her style picks, however post the exit she will be allowed to accept clothes and free PR packages from brands. A prohibited practice in the royal household.
Royal style picks are usually elegant dresses and coats clubbed with pumps, Meghan is most likely to be seen wearing sporty clothes while enjoying her normal life on Canadian streets or sporting denims on a casual outings. Think street style chic royalty or Canadian tuxedos!
Last but not the least, Meghan Markle will surely switch those clutches with the ever so convenient and uber comfy sling bags.
