'Cartel' Trailer: A starry ensemble cast including Rithvik, Supriya Pathak & come together for a mafia saga

The trailer definitely packs an instance punch and while there are several similar tropes we have seen in several mafia stories over the years, one of the prime reasons that makes the show instantly something to look forward to - it is the class of actors that have been assembled for the show.

Alt Balaji has had quite the record with Indian content for a long time now where a lot of shows on the streaming platform have turned out to be quite the success stories indeed. But some of these have managed to make a huge impact and even developed a cult following as well. However, there are always ambitious projects and one of them is going to be Cartel with a massive and alluring ensemble cast.

The trailer of the same has released now and as we have known already, the series has one of the most impressive ensemble cast assembled. As expected, the trailer packs an instant punch where a seasoned veteran like Supriya Pathak Kapur aka Raani Maai is the matriarch of a mafia family and has two poles apart nephews in the form of Major Bhau (Tanuj Virwani) and Madhu Bhau (Jitendra Joshi) managing the mafia business along with her own son Abhay (Rithvik Dhanjani) also a part of all the possible illegal activites.

The trailer takes a turn in the most Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai-style where Raani Maai (just like Sultan Mirza) has ensured all these years that no gang war occurs owing to a compromise but all hell breaks loose when a few incidents leads to a sudden unrest between these gangs as well as their own families-

Apart from the leading aforementioned cast, the series also has the likes of Monica Dogra, Tanishta Chatterjee, Divya Agarwal, Samir Soni, and Amey Wagh among others playing important characters.
