Carpet turns villian for Sharad and Divyanka

Shooting for a serial is not an easy task and accidents are prone to happen. Recently, there was a mishap on the sets of 'Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan'. Sharad Malhotra (Sagar) and Divyanka Tripathi (Vidya) were shooting a Diwali sequence where he had to carry a fainted Divya in his arms. As he started walking, his leg got entwined with the carpet which led both of them falling with Divya hitting her head hard on the floor. She was badly hurt and could not shoot for a couple of days.

Divyanka was not available for a comment, but when asked Sharad about the incident, he said, "I had just picked her up, when my leg got caught under the carpet, and I could not walk. I tripped and we both had a great fall. The fall was really very nasty and Divyanka's head banged on the floor and she was in real bad shape". Regarding Divyanka recovering, he said, "Things are fine now, she is fine too." It is not only Divyanka who got hurt, but even Sharad sprained his leg. The actor casually says, "I am now used to all these accidents. I have got hurt on sets so many times now, that I actually look forward to something happening now. When all goes well, I feel that something is missing", says Sharad in his jovial self.
