Bollywood stars sparkle puja celebrations in Kolkata
Kolkata, Oct 15 (IANS) Leading Bollywood stars Preity Zinta, Ajay Devgan, Dharmendra and actor-turned-director Rakesh Roshan pushed the festive fervour of Duga puja a few notches up when they turned up to inaugurate a puja pandal here Monday.
The stars were in attendance for the inauguration of Triangular Park puja pandal on Pratapadiya road patronised by Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Das Munsi.
'We are very happy to be present here in Kolkata to inaugurate the puja pandal. We wish you all a very happy puja this year,' said Ajay Devgan to his fans.
Preity Zinta said she was elated to be able to come to Kolkata during Durga puja.
'I also went to Kalighat Temple (Monday) morning and offered prayers to goddess Kali.'
Tollywood actress Rituparna Sengupta and Congress leader and former Kolkata Municipal Corporation mayor Subrata Mukherjee were also present on the occasion.
