Bloopers: The RARE & UNNOTICED mistakes from 'Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai'
Humans make mistakes afterall..

Time and again, we talk about how Sony TV's popular show, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai has managed to be spot on, when it comes to the presentation of the phase of the 90s and the authenticity that they have maintained.
From the cinematography to the music and the costumes, everything is intricately taken care of and detailing is done to make sure, that everything is pitch perfect.
But of course, we are only humans afterall, and we make mistakes. A similar thing has been a recurring instance on Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, where the little bloopers were spotted over time. Be it the usage of notebooks or the timeline, the calendar or the props, these little bloopers spotted by observant minds are a revelation for sure.
Of course, none of this takes away the credibility of the show and it's plot.
So, scroll on the know the bloopers-
Change of Photo Frames

Okay, so this actually happens a lot in multiple shows, but only at times it is done so smartly, that the camera captures it in a blink and a miss. However, that wasn't the case here, as an episode of 13th March 2018 showcased Sameer's (Randeep Rai) batting pose, while the episode of 16th March 2018 showed that the frame was replaced by Sameer with his Nanu (Kiran Kumar).
Not So Book-ish

I understand how challenging it would have been for the makers to actually find and present books from the 90s, as they mustn't even be in production anymore. And, I also feel the makers would have seen this coming too, as multiple scenes of the shows showcase the characters holding books, which belong to companies manufactured only after millennium. Even the boards are different- for example, how Rohan carries a book in a scene which belongs to Maharashtra Board, whereas he is shown to reside in Delhi.
Tip to get over this blooper ahead: Just cover the books with brown papers from those times.
This 'Date' Is Not Working Out

Probably one of the most obvious bloopers, the love letter track between Sameer and Naina (Ashi Singh) showcased how both of them are crossing days on the calendar, thinking and hoping their letter would reach the other in a particular period of time. However, a major difference was how even though, they are shown to be in May 1991, both have calendars with different dates. Also, the calendar actually shown on Sameer's part was that of October 2017.
'Time' Please

The observant community doesn't miss out on the details, and boy is this pure detailing. One of the episodes a the beginning of the love letter track showed how Naina's family has gotten the VCR to watch the wedding tape. However, the moment when Taiji spots Naina apparently gesturing towards some guy was asked by the former to rewind, so that it can be confirmed. This is where the blooper was as, the real time video play at Naina's shot was 1:15:14, and the time it was asked to be re-winded was 1:24:06. Should have been taken care of.
Forgot To Change?

Rather than obvious, this is undoubtedly the biggest blooper in the show, where they couldn't keep track of the costume and the timeline, they would showcase in the episode. Going down the vault, the 9th November 2017 episode showcased three rounds of tussle between Sameer and Naina. The gap between the first and the third round showed an obvious two day gap. Basically, Round 1 included Sameer and Naina challenging each other indirectly having the spiciest pani puris, and check at what clothes are they wearing-

Then, cut to Round 3, the sunset in the image is from the one in the episode, which showed that a day or two has passed by. Now, Round 3 was when Sameer, Naina and their gang are in a video library, once again, making remarks at each other indirectly but obviously. But, I am sure you noticed the blooper here. Everyone is wearing the same outfit as Round 1. One blooper, that should really have been looked into.

So, these are the bloopers that the creatives may want to take into notice the next time around, and be careful. Nevertheless, the show is in no way majorly affected by that, as it still continues to wow.
