Black to air on 9X

After Angad and Ramlaal shifting to other channels, it was reported that Sunil Agnihotri's  Black might also swing from 9X. The star cast of the show includes Mamik in lead and its storyline is based on international hit series, X – Files.

"It's absolutely untrue as I have commitments with 9X. The show will come on air on the same channel and I will see to it that we deliver," says Producer Sunil Agnihotri.

The show might start in March. "We will be organizing the press conference in the last week of February," he adds further.

As per our sources, "The delay in the launch could be that they had to build the bank of episodes."

Although the channel officially refuses to talk about resumption of fresh programming, our source further adds, "The channel had been showing promos of Black and Gladrags Mrs. India and both will surely see the light of the day. The channel was indeed in problem but soon things should work out." However, the source refused to comment further on possibilities of any old show returning with fresh episodes.

"It is speculated that the channel has worked out on arrangement with Agnihothri in the sense that the latter will not only make the show but also do it's marketing.  The revenues will   be shared by both the parties," chirps our khabroo.

A number of producers have said that, "The above old DD concept of buying time slots is fine but it has number of difficulties as well.  Namely that the channel does not enjoy good GRP's," concludes the source.

Now the fate of the Black will decided on the re-start of the channel. Let's wait and watch what's next!!!
