In 2021, Eilish took legal action against multiple stalkers, securing restraining orders to protect herself and her family. One such case involved a man who repeatedly showed up at her parents' home and made a “throat-slitting gesture” at her, as documented in court filings and reported by RadarOnline. Another stalker was found lurking outside her residence, heightening her fears.

Eilish also obtained a restraining order against Shawn Christopher McIntyre, a 53-year-old who bombarded her and her loved ones with threatening messages on social media.
