Bigg Boss 19: Anupamaa actress Nidhi Shah reportedly approached to participate in the show

Bigg Boss is returning with its 19th season, generating significant excitement among fans. As Bigg Boss 19 preparations continue, excitement is building. The reality show is anticipated to return on August 24 with new contestants and a fresh theme. Rumors suggest this year's theme is politics, with casting details still undisclosed. In recent weeks, several television actors have been rumored to be in discussions for the show.

According to a source close to the Bigg Boss 19 production team, News18 has revealed that Anupamaa actress Nidhi Shah has been approached for the show. If she accepts the offer, this could be a significant addition to the contestant lineup.

The source said, “Nidhi Shah has been approached by the makers, but it has not been confirmed if she has indeed agreed to do the show."

Rumored contestants approached for the show include celebrities such as Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Alisha Panwar, Khushi Dubey, Gaurav Taneja, Mr Faisu, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Gaurav Khanna, Dhanashree Verma, Sriram Chandra, Arshifa Khan, and Mickey Makeover.

The producers of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show released the official trailer for the upcoming season on Thursday, promising unprecedented entertainment. Set in a Parliament-themed Bigg Boss house, the promo reveals the show's theme: "Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar" (The Housemates' Government). For the first time, housemates will have the power to make decisions, transforming the house into a battleground of public opinion with unfiltered consequences.

“Bigg Boss ka har season alag hota hai, lekin iss baar toh scene hi palat gaya hai. ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ ka matlab hai power unke haath mein, aur jab power milti hai, toh asli chehre saamne aate hain. Is baar contestants ko apne decisions lene ka poora haq diya gaya hai, par har decision ke saath ek consequence bhi aata hai. Main hamesha kehta hoon, tameez se khelo, par yeh log tameez chhod ke drama le aate hain. This season, they’ll try to run the house their way but, when things go out of control, you know who’s coming back to set the record straight!" he said in the promo.

Bigg Boss 19 is set to premiere on Jio Hotstar starting August 24. This year, new episodes will be available on OTT platforms first, followed by a premiere on Colors TV one and a half hours later.
