With speculations and rumours about the contestant lineup, Bigg Boss 18 is already stirring excitement among fans. Among the buzz, Nia Sharma's name has become the first confirmed contestant for the season. We previously reported that Nia would be officially introduced as a contestant during the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 finale, where host Rohit Shetty announced her participation in Bigg Boss 18.

Following this revelation, media outlets flooded Nia with requests for confirmation. However, the actress chose to stay tight-lipped, addressing the rumours through a social media post. In her Instagram story, Nia wrote, "Hi there! Please don't call or text me to ask anything about the Bigg Boss thing. Mujhe Maaf kardo. I won't be replying. Not up for giving quotes or any interviews. Sorry. Have an awesome day."

Nia, currently seen on Colors TV's Laughter Chef, has also been a part of the fantasy drama Suhaagan Chudail on the same channel.
