In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, as Bigg Boss 18 gears up for the highly anticipated family week, Avinash Mishra's mother opens up about her son's journey in the house. She talks about his calm nature, the ups and downs he's faced, and how the game has shaped his behavior. She sheds light on his personality, relationships with housemates, and gives insights into his past, including his childhood talents and future aspirations.

Q. Since day one, Avinash's journey has had many ups and downs. He has good relationships with some people and not with others. Can you tell me if Avinash is like this normally, or is he behaving differently because he's living with unknown people in the game?

Avinash is very calm. I have seen this side of him. But I understand that everyone in the house has been after him since the beginning. Listening to so many people constantly can be frustrating. When someone is constantly poked and spoken to in a certain way, they will get angry. He can't do anything about it. He can’t go outside and has to live amongst them, see their faces, and listen to them. He controlled himself. He got angry in the beginning but then understood that he needs to control himself. He controlled himself and then became his funny self, as he is. Now, he's playing with a calm mind.

Q. Talking about his funny nature, we saw a lot of his talent in yesterday's episode. He does great mimicry. Is this a talent from his school days?

This talent is from his childhood, you can say it's by birth. When he was nine or ten years old, when he started speaking, he said he wanted to become a hero. He never said he wanted to do anything else. From the beginning, he wanted to be a hero. Whatever he learned, I told him to complete it. He was into swimming, and he said he was learning because a hero should know everything. He learned singing, and he said a hero should know everything. He was into many sports in school. Every year his sport would change – sometimes hockey, sometimes cricket, sometimes volleyball. I used to tell him to continue with one, but he said a hero should know everything.

Q. We can see his heroic traits. He gets a lot of attention, especially from girls. Among all this attention, he became close friends with Eisha Singh. There were many discussions about them on Weekend ka Vaar because of their growing closeness. People think that friendship often turns into love. What do you think?

Nothing can be said right now. Because of what Salman Sir said about Eisha. From Eisha's game, it's clear she's using Avinash. Whenever it comes to supporting him, she backs off and goes to Rajat, thinking he will save her from nomination. Everyone has to be nominated. If you have to save yourself, you have to do it with your own game. But this kind of selfishness, going here and there just to play safe, doesn't seem like true friendship to me.

Q. If you could advise Avinash to maintain distance from a particular housemate, who would it be?

Eisha. No one else, because he isn't close to anyone else. It's not right for me to say anything right now. There are 15-20 days left, and the game is at a turning point. But Avinash is smarter than any advice I can give. He's not an angry person. When I get angry, he explains to me how to speak.

Q. Recently, there was a big issue regarding Avinash and Kashish, involving flirting near the swimming pool. What's your take on this?

I was very angry after hearing it. But I was confident because there are so many cameras. I watch the 24-hour channel, and I saw that Kashish was the one flirting. I knew this, we had seen it. Truth will come out. If Avinash is wrong, it will also come out. But I knew Avinash is not wrong.

Q. Kashish’s fans say that if Kashish was flirting, Avinash could have walked away. It takes two to tango.

If you have seen the video, there’s no need to say anything. If you want to remain blind even after seeing everything, I have nothing to say. Everyone has seen everything. They have shown how he was sitting. He didn't like it. Avinash usually stays in his own space. He wanted to remove the towel. He was sitting with the towel. Look at Kashish's body language. You can tell by what someone is wearing, their body language, and what they are showing. Avinash could have also removed the towel. His body language could have been different. Kashish is always praising him, but Avinash didn't do anything like that.

Q. Lastly, you said there's a line of girls outside for Avinash. What kind of daughter-in-law are you looking for? What qualities should she have?

Avinash is very mature. He doesn't flirt. The girl he chooses should be calm.

Avinash Mishra's journey in Bigg Boss 18 reveals his ability to maintain composure despite challenges. His mother’s insights highlight his maturity, calm nature, and dedication. As the family week unfolds, it will be interesting to see how these qualities shape his relationships and gameplay in the coming days.
