Bigg Boss 15: Umar Riaz admits that the word 'atankwaadi' used by Simba Nagpal was a part of a 'joke'

Yesterday, we saw a huge showdown between Umar Riaz and Simba Nagpal in the house of Bigg Boss 15. The entire fiasco which took place amidst the coconut task showcased a different side of Simba, who was earlier believed to be 'sweet and sober'. We saw how he can reprimand if you rub him in a wrong way. And that is what seemed to have happened when Umar Riaz abused his mother.

But what's more to that is the entire ongoing debate about Simba calling Umar an 'Aatankwaadi' and how that was a part of a joke to which Umar himself admitted in a conversation with Ieshaan. He said "Isne mujhe ek baar bola ki teri aankhein badi innocent hai, lekin jab task mein ata hai na toh atankwaadi lagta hai" to which Ieshaan agreed and said "Mere paas same dialogue se ata hai". He further continued, "Ye mujhe bolta hai ki tu Soorma mat lagaya kar task mein, bohot stereotypical 'joke' hai ye"

Well, it is now cleared that the 'Aatankwaadi' word was said jokingly and not seriously. Earlier today his bestfriend Aarsh Khan who is also muslim and is Simba's bestfriend since the past eight years said “Simba was never raised in a way that would discriminate between religions. He would never do or say anything that would hurt anyone’s religious sentiments”.

A lot continues to be said as many have different arguments about Simba and Umar. However, the violence in the house, continues to be something that is a problem, no matter at what levels and by whom.
