'Bigg Boss 15' Premiere (Updating Live!)

And we are here! The biggest reality show on Indian television  has now begun and it would be safe to say that things are shaking up right away.

Usually we have seen how Bigg Boss takes a while to get into the premiere and then later reveal the first contestant. But that didn't happen this week as Jay Bhanushali was revealed as the first contestant in the show almost instant after the premiere.

It was all the more interesting because this is the first time indeed that not only is the first contestant revealed so early but host Salman Khan himself was in the house himself to introduce Bhanushali and the house itself. 

Got to give full marks to the show for shaking things up indeed. The show took yet another fresh route of going on to reveal all the contestants in one go! But of course, with a twist. Indeed all the contestants were revealed as they performed amazingly on the stage but with masks on thus just teasing it. 

Here's introducing the second contestant of Bigg Boss 15 - actor Vishal Kotian, who is best known for his role as Birbal in the show, Akbar Birbal. He seemed rather eccentric and made an impact instantly. 

Coming in as the third contestant is none other than TV's popular face, actor Tejasswi Prakash. The actor is one of the most popular faces as we know but her real side was seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi - Darr v/s Dare where she was chirpy and had a ditzy personna. She portrayed the same in a way as she was introduced on the premiere.

Coming in as the fourth contestant is actor Vidhi Pandya. The actor, best known for her roles in shows like Udaan and Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 has come in with a purpose. Her personality seems rather mellow but the show is known to see changes in contestants.

And coming in as contestant number five is actor Simba Nagpal. The man made an instant impact in the telly world with his role in Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii. Unlike his onscreen character, he had a rather flamboyant person as he was introduced.mb

Coming in as the sixth contestant is actor Umar Riaz. The man is currently known by his brother and Bigg Boss 13 legend, Asim Riaz. His entry was accentuated with Asim coming in thus making it special.

Following Riaz, the seventh and eighth contestant coming in were Ieshan Sehgal and Donal Bisht. While Sehgal is relatively unknown yet, Bisht is a popular TV face having done multiple shows. Sehgal seemed rather cool and mellow and so did Bisht.

Usually known for her chartbuster songs, Akasa Singh made her entry on the premiere and managed to exhibit the same on the stage as well. Singh was amazing and seemed like a frontrunner as the ninth contestant.

And now coming in as the tenth contestant is arguably the most popular man in this season - Karan Kundrra. His off-screen personna is seen in multiple reality shows but it will be interesting to see how he is on Bigg Boss 15.

Now coming in as the eleventh contestant is singer Afsana Khan. The lady is a household name for the chartbuster song, Titliaan. Interestingly, Khan almost backed out of the show owing to health issues but is now in the show.

We are almost heading towards the end as two more contestants were revealed where the twelfth and thirteenth contestants were revealed in the form of actors Meisha Iyer and Sahil Shroff.

Thus ends Day 1 of Bigg Boss 15 and we are yet to meet the Bigg Boss OTT trio and the fourteenth contestant as well. We saw actor Ranveer Singh coming in at the end to promote his TV debut, The Big Picture - the extension of which we will see tomorrow.
