BIG Synergy to roll out new fiction show - 'Sixers' on Star Plus!

Here comes in some big news for the ardent fans of cricket lovers. 

Star Plus has always provided mega entertainment shows which have proved to be a visual treat for the household audience. 

Now, the channel seems to be all geared up to churn out a fresh concept and story line in the near future! 

Of what we hear, BIG Synergy will soon launch a new show on Star Plus tilted Sixers. 

The concept of the show will revolve around how a young boy from a small town comes to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming a cricketer. But soon the story will take a major turn when he will meet a girl who will happen to be his lucky mascot!

Our source from the industry informs us, "This show will platform how the protagonist will encounter problems in pursuing his dream. But situations will soon start favouring him when he will meet a short tempered girl who will end up slapping him for his behaviour. The story will focus not only on the lead actor's passion for cricket but also the romance where he will stalk the actress only to get slapped!"

Of what we hear, the pilot of the show has been shot and Star Plus has given the green signal too! 

Doesn't this concept sound like a television version of Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan's Bollywood movie - Kismat Konnection?
