Bidaai scales new heights..

Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai had a rocking 2008, and continues its successful run in the New Year too.

Last week, Rajan Shahi’s Bidaai reached a new milestone with a weekly TRP average of 8.9, the highest in nearly 100 weeks.

An elated Rajan Shahi confirmed this and said, “We are very happy that the ongoing track of Bidaai is being acknowledged and appreciated by viewers. Last week, we achieved a 9.6 and 9.2 TRP for two of our episodes, which is the highest rating on GE in more than 570 days. We hit an average TRP of 8.9 last week. The terrace scene of Ranvir and Ragini was very much appreciated by viewers”.

The track in the show is heading towards Ranvir-Ragini marriage, which is the next highpoint. However, all is still not a bed of roses for Ragini, as the buzz is that the coming episodes will see a big twist coming.

When asked Rajan Shahi about the track, he stated, “I cannot disclose the twist as it is a big turning point. All I can say is that the coming episodes will see an unexpected twist which will change the tale altogether”.

However, Ranvir-Ragini marriage does take place amidst all the confusion. There were recent reports that the newly married couple will have a honeymoon sequence which will be shot abroad. On this Rajan Shahi indicates, “Well, we have no plans to shoot abroad. And with the kind of twist expected, you never know whether the couple do get a honeymoon or not!!”.

Well, the TRPs have indeed been rocking, but wonder what’s in store for Ranvir and Ragini post marriage?
