Bhumi Pednekar tests COVID Positive with mild symptoms, isolates herself

Even after a year, the second wave of COVID-19 is spreading in full force. The number of cases keep breaking new records with each passing day.

Bollywood celebrities who resumed their work last month have been the common targets of the virus. Several actors have contracted the virus in the past few weeks.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar is the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID-19. She confirmed the same with a social media post.

Bhumi shared that she has mild symptoms of Coronavirus and has isolated herself. She wrote,

“I have tested positive for COVID-19. As of today, I have mild symptoms, but am feeling ok and have isolated myself. I am following the protocol given by my doctor and health professionals.”

She also advised people around her to take the test as a precautionary measure. She added, 

“If you have been in contact with me, request you to please get tested immediately. Steam, Vit - C, Food and a Happy Mood are my go-to :)”

Bhumi also urged her followers to follow all the safety guidelines as she wrote, 

“Please don't take the current situation lightly, even though i followed utmost precaution and care I've contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour. Love Bhumi”

Among other actors, Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19 and has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure. He confirmed the same with a tweet and stated that he hopes to be back soon.
