"Bhagyalaxmi" became one of the worst experiences of my life", tells Anupriya Kapoor

Talented actress, Anupriya Kapoor who is best known for her roles on shows like, 'Warrior High' and 'Tere Liye' recently announced about quitting her current show, 'Bhagyalaxmi'. There were many questions and suspicions regarding her exit including allegations from the production house about her being difficult to handle and throwing tantrums on the sets. However, her take was not asked for before jumping to a conclusion. The actress opens up her heart to us about the reason of her quitting, the journey and her love life.

The production house already knew about the contract I have signed with them. My contract tells, I am ready to work for 12 hours a day, however, the makers expected me to work for 15 hours.

I signed the contract on 13th September 2015, where I remember them asking me to join the shoot right away. I joined the show mid-way, where one or two leads had already been replaced. I saw people crying on the sets because of a particular instance. Such unprofessional behaviour, no discipline and no communication between the director, producer and others. You start feeling suffocated.

This journey was one of the worst experiences of my life. Since day 1, I was facing problems regarding the shift timings and could understand the reason for back-to-back replacements. This year I did 'Warrior High' with relatively new people, however it was a treat and a dream working with some amazing people who are so organised and balanced. And in a complete contrast, working with an established and successful production house, where there were so many mishaps, problems and totally non-creative people. You have seasoned actors like Aruna Irani and Sara Khan who are brilliant, but so under utilised along with no real developments in the story. The only positive I can take out of the whole experience is meeting the love of my life, Varun, making the whole thing seem better.

As much as I want to talk about it, currently I am not in a position to talk on it, but will surely talk about the whole journey soon.

No, currently I am just doing some look tests, as the shoot hasn't completed. I am going to complete what I committed and keep shooting till the 29th December. Later which, I will start working for other projects.
