Being unhappy with his character in 'Thapki Pyaar Ki 2' - Rudra Kaushish

Actors being unhappy with their character progression in a particular show is not a new phenomenon and while sometimes that changes and things get better, sometimes it doesn't. The former is what actor Rudra Kaushish will be hoping for. It so happens that Kaushish, who plays the role of Mukul Agarwal in the on-going show, Thapki Pyaar Ki 2 isn't happy with his role in the show.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Kaushish said, " I joined the show last year in September. They blocked 25 days in a month, so I thought that my character would be interesting and important. But I was barely shooting for a few days every month. Earlier I was fine with my role in the show. But as the story progressed, with Thapki getting to know that she's daughter of my first wife, things changed. My character Mukul didn't have much to do. Infact since the past one month they haven't even called me on the sets. This concerns me because I am worried about my work. I don't have a complaint against the production or the makers of the show, but it's just that I am concerned about my career. I don't see a future for this character."

He mentioned how he is planning to talk with the makers and take a final call then, "I'll speak to them in a few days about my role and if there's no improvement or much for me to do then I would like to discontinue. I would rather try and get a new role for myself. I'm interested in playing negative roles."

We really hope that problems get resolved and Kaushish gets a satisfactory arc to continue with in the show.
