Being ABROAD has not deterred this TV actor to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi!

Indonesia seems to be the new hotspot for Television actors these days. Many of our Tinsel town stars are currently in Indonesia working and promoting their respective shows as there is a huge fan base for Indian television there.

And while a majority of stars have missed the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, due to work commitments there, one actor, who is actually celebrating the festival in Indonesia itself, is actor Ankit Bathla.

Ankit, who was last seen in Thapki...Pyaar Ki, is currently in Indonesia and so what if he could not fly back down to India for the festival. He has taken the festival there and has brought home a Ganesha Idol for puja.

Says Ankit, "Being away from home for so many months makes me miss my friends and family. But I did not want to miss my Gannu ji (Ganesha) so I got him for an international trip. I am extremely delighted to bring him home here (in Jakarta) and make the friends here meet him and take his blessings."

That is really sweet of Ankit, isn't it?
