How disappointed are you?
Do I look disappointed? I'm happy for the winner, Dipika. My trophy is in my lap, my family, my children. I really wonder how those men who fight battles out there are able to do it by leaving their family behind. Its really not easy! For me, its a big achievement in itself to be in the top 5. For me this was a journey of realization! I'm really glad that I did Bigg Boss, there is no disappointed. The show is a press cooker and staying here till the top 5 is an achievement!
But KV do you feel that someone who is 'good' can not win?
I don't think so! I don't think there is such a format or 'stereotype'. If someone like me could reach the top 5, you never know next year someone like me can win also. You never know! There is only winner on the show but your behavior, your character, your true self needs to come out well on the show. I've played many characters in the last 18 years of my career but Bigg Boss is one such show in which God said I'm giving you the opportunity to play one more character, the one which shows the character of a man I've made 'Karanvir Bohra' and I've played it just that way the real Karanvir is.
Why didn't you win? What went wrong?
I don't think anything went wrong. There is always a struggle on who should win, how they should win, etc. When you don't score well on an exam, there's always this statement that 'I should have studied harder" and then if you don't get 100% and you get 95 you say, "Maybe I should have studied harder..." If you get 95% you still say why couldn't I study a little bit more for that 5% extra. And so I also can say "Maybe I should have played harder" but there's so much I have taken away.
Best Bonding in the Journey...
Srishti, Deepak, Sree and Surbhi
Teejay wrote a letter, what do you want to say about that...
Funny thing is I haven't touched my phone. I don't know what she has written but we all have our perspective. We all have our own point of view and Bigg Boss teaches you to take a stand. I reacted on what Salman Khan said and you don't know. Bigg Boss teaches you like no other and teaches you on how to behave once you are out! I've worked for 18 years in this industry but Bigg boss has given me the experience of another 18 years! I have the passion and hunger now to do even bigger things in life now!
Did you feel bad when Salman would tease you?
Not at all! Salman bhai and I have very cute banter! Who wouldn't love having banter with Salman Khan!
What have you gained in the house and lost in the house?
I have gotten the word 'vatitkva'. Bigg Boss teaches you to want and voice what you want! Unless you really say you want it, the universe won't conspire in helping you get it! Whatever you want, say I want it!
You were confused! What would you want to say about that...
I'm clear about the fact that there was no confusion! Its a big thing to play and put up this game and show with kindness, humility, dignity and grace! I've managed to do that and I am the same person from day one to now!
What is your take on the 'mahanta' tag you have gained?
Mahanta is a very heavy word! Teejay and I are by nature such people that we think about others. I have been volunteering since long on weekends in helping. In the Bigg Boss house, I would segregate the garbage. Whenever I would see the underdog, I would go to help them. And this is good but I would volunteer even to go to the jail and admit my mistakes, which is why I got the 'mahanta' tag. But Bigg Boss would say stop volunteering.
What do you want to say about your fights with Sreesanth! But what is the equation now?
What happened in the house remains in the house and trust me we are still friends! The house is a press cooker and there are many 'whistles'. We are back to normal life and I'm friends with everyone including Sree.
Coming to the rationing in the house, Kamya Punjabi had made a comment on you saying KV is not 'classy'!
Keep your name, Karanvir Bohra outside. Stay as the same guy you were 18 years ago. I was proud to be a common man! If I had not gained what I have in the last 18 years, I would have rationed food. When a mother has 2-3 kids, I was really the mother as I would hide things and when my co-contestants would REALLY need something they would come ask me for it. I was the 'Mummy' in the house...
Did you know Bella was trending on twitter...
I didn't but when Vikas came into the house he told me, 'You are popular but listen your daughters are a rage!" I'm proud to be a 'family man' and I'm a proud son, proud husband and a proud father!
You keep saying "Om Namah Shivay'. Do you believe in Shankar Baghwan a lot!
Absolutely! Mere joh achcha woh uska, joh bura woh uska, mera kuch nahi!
Karanvir your claim to fame was Saubhagyavati Bhava. Do you want to maintain that or the good boy?
Karanvir Bohra is a family man! But what roles come to me I shall play and continue playing! Many thought I would be like the man they say in my shows but that's not the real Karanvir Bohra. The real Karanvir Bohra is the man you saw in the house in the last 3.5 months!
