BB Marathi 2- Vidyadhar (Bappa) Joshi: Shivani Surve’s exit did not affect me, I wasn’t close to her!

Colors Marathi’s popular reality show Bigg Boss is doing pretty well with the audience. The show produced by Endemol Shine is hosted by popular director-actor Mahesh Manjrekar and is the second instalment of the popular reality show in the Marathi language. Recently, famous Marathi actor, Vidyadhar Joshi referred as Bappa got eliminated from the show after surviving four weeks in the game show.

We got in touch with Bappa to know about his journey, he said, “It was an amazing journey. For me, it was a different experience altogether because the kind of person I am, I always had a thing in mind that was to play with dignity. It was a great experience.”

The show reached a high point in drama when actress Shivani Surve was thrown out of the show as a disciplinary action for her behaviour towards the makers. Bappa was said to be close with the actress, but he had a different take on this, he said, "I was not close to Shivani. Yes, we had worked together for a project but that was a long time back. We were friends. I didn’t feel sad after her exit from the show, I only felt bad because she was a strong player and she took this decision due to her personal problems and mood swings.”

Bappa had a sweet-sour relationship with Surekha and his stands were neutral in most situations. But, amidst all he gave his best in the show. While concluding he said, “I have a message for the audience, Bigg Boss is not a bad show. It is neatly designed, but sometimes it tends to turn bad only because of the game being played by the contestants in the house. Overall, the show is really good and it deserves that amount of appreciation from the audience. There is a lot that one can learn by watching this show.”
