Battle Of Galwan brings together the iconic duo of Salman Khan and Himesh Reshammiya

Salman Khan has announced his new movie, Battle Of Galwan with Apoorva Lakhia. The actor took a long break after the debacle of Sikandar to sign his new film. In between, his fans also met him to convey what expectations they had from him as an actor going forward. Now, Apoorva Lakhia took to Instagram to tell fans that Himesh Reshammiya is on board as the music composer for the film. The lyrics will be by veteran Sameer Anjaan who wrote for some of the 90s blockbusters. Movie-goers had been complaining about lack of original songs and makers seem to be taking heed of the same.

Salman Khan will leave for Ladakh next month as per reports. They have planned a long 70-day schedule in the stunning mountainous region. Apoorva Lakhia plans to shoot all the fight sequences in the real locations adding that authenticity to the film. Salman Khan has been training a lot for the movie. He did his gym sessions in a low oxygen setting so that his body could adapt to Ladakh in no time. It takes three to four days to get used to the weather there. Fans would be happy to know that Himesh Reshammiya is coming on board for this important film.

The association of Himesh and Salman goes back to the nineties. Tere Naam, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Kick, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Hello Brother and more films. People still remember the songs of these movies. Apoorva Lakhia is making a comeback as a director in films after the 2017 film Haseena Parker. In between, he did web series like Crackdown and Mum Bhai.

Salman Khan was supposed to start work on a movie Ganga Ram also starring Sanjay Dutt. His fans did not want to see him in a rustic masala entertainer. He has now postponed the movie. In Battle of Galwan, he is playing B Santosh Babu. Chitrangda Singh is his leading lady.
